ARKANSAS FINALLY GOT SNOW : )

It took two years but we finally got snow! Brayden was the only one allowed to go out. Macy and Cayden have been battling the flu since last Saturday. It's been a bad bug. Were going to get 2-3 more inches today maybe. The weathermen are very proud of themselves here. They finally got it right after the two storms that have passed us the past couple of weeks, and we got nothing but RAIN!!!!!!!!

If all of the snow that has fallen this week would have landed at the same time, we would have about 3-4 inches. Since it didn't, we had scattered wind-blown "dustings". I will trade you the 2-3 inches for the sub zero temps we are supposed to get this weekend.

You can have the cold sub-freezing weather. I'll take the snow. Ours came through the night,we played in it for an hour and by 2 pm it was all melted off. It's snowing right now.

Not too bad seeing that Arkansas has finally received some snow. But what amazes me is for every one inch of rain you will get a foot of snow. So the equivalent of the two inches of snow that you have received would have been 1/6 inches of rain.

Ahhh...winter memories of TN much like AR...just enough snow for a miniature snowman dwarf. I'll never forget the time we were living in Paragould, AR and we got about half an inch of snow. One of the church families that lived on our street were literally scraping snow off the ground to make snow cream. Needless to say it tasted like dirt. Nice toboggan Brayden has there btw.

We made one of those snowman dwarfs. He keeled over by 2pm. That's my hat. He wanted to wear it,so I got stuck wearing the hog boggin.
