Moondog Bobblehead!

What is this? I hope the Nailers gave Moondog all the proceeds off this thing.
I've been kind of wrapped up in some other things and had some blogger withdraw.
As you all know my Aunt fell last week and she definitely is in need of prayers, calls and cards. Pray that her leg will heal and she can get back her normal routine.
A note on Ethan Powell. He was having some trouble with some nose bleeds the past couple of days and they would not stop. So pray for this little child that things will get better for him and his family. Thank the Lord for a hospital like St. Judes, they are really great people there.

Coaching For Dummies!

I thought this was hilarious. Roger Metz sent this to me, and is it so true! He's A Weasel!

February 15th 2008

I can't believe it's been 20 years today since my Grandfather passed away. Time is flying fast anymore, and it just goes by you before you know it. I often wonder what he is doing now, where he is. A question we all wonder about anybody who dies. I wonder what anybody who's passed on would think about the world right now.
It just seems like things are going to pot. People are just getting worse, doing things that are incomprehensible in my mind. Another shooting at a University, another big time baseball player lying about steroid use. I'm sure somebody was murdered or raped today. The government and economy is a mess right now. People are just living their lives in pure filth. It's like nobody has any remorse for taking another persons life. Or has any care about the way they live their lives anymore.
What's going on?
It's sad to me! You can't tell anybody that they need to change their lives and make things better for themselves. They'll yell back at you and say who are you to judge me. What's the point of helping anybody anymore. You see somebody in need and you want to help them, but the first thing that comes to your mind is: "Are they scammers?" or do they really need help.
A confusing world we live in, but when you think about the evil we see today, has gone on since the world was created so it's nothing new to this planet. Nowadays, it's like people take evil to the extreme or put a new spin on it to make it seem worse. That's where I ask the question of what would those who have passed to the other side would think. Would they just say that it all happened when they were present in this life or would they be in total shock by what goes on in todays world.
That's why it says to put on the full armor of God. Protect you and your family with everything God has to offer us through his son, his Church, his holy word. Keep a Godly mind and strengthen that mind with everything that is from God. Do not be friends with the world or love nothing in the world. Keep yourself in good company, don't get caught up in the wrong crowd. Being with good people will keep you from going in the wrong direction in life. We need to stress this to our children, it was preached to me all the time by my parents and that has stuck with me today.
There have been times in the past when I got with the wrong crowd and decided that was not the scene I needed to be with. I think about where I am in life right now and the people that are in our Bible class, this is where I want to be. Good people willing to protect me and my family and I would do the same for them. More people need to realize that for their lives.
You hang out with drug addicts you'll soon become one. You stick with negative people you will be just like them. You hang out with Christians you'll become one. You hang out with a loving Grandfather or Papaw you might become a good grandfather one day.
Whatever the inhabitants do on this earth whether good or evil, I know I will finish the race that I have been running. Faith in God till the last breath will get you to very good and eternal surroundings.

Continue To Pray For Ethan Powell

I just got off little Ethan's website and I just am heartbroken about his condition every time I read it.
He is now suffering from sores on the inside of his body and sores on the outside of his body. The leukemia continues to grow and the prayers of many are needed. These are some pictures taken of him a couple of months ago, that I found on his website. What a sweet little boy! He needs our prayers right now.
The pictures below are of a tornado that struck a mall in Memphis where Ethan's mother was. She was in the Sears (pictured) buying a new pair of glasses when the tornado struck. She is lucky to be alive, her truck is also the one in the pictures below. It suffered some pretty good damage also. If things aren't bad enough for this family with their child terminally ill then this happens.
I hope many will pray for this little boy and for his parents. God will answer, if we all believe. Please spread the word about his situation and continue to tell others about this blog and I will continue to update his progress. http://www.ethanpowell.com/ If you would like to send a card to Ethans family here is the address:

www. PAY UP RICH .com / WVU Wants Their Green!

A $50 donation to this website gets you a yard sign like this picture and a T- shirt. I would love to have one of those signs to put in my yard. Everybody in my neighborhood would understand they all go to Church with me.
How funny is this?????????????????
I try not to judge anybody but Coach Rod is a living WEASEL! He has offended every Mountaineer fan across the state and the Mountaineer fans across the nation with his ACTIONS!
Pay up Rich it's time! Give WVU the $4 million and we'll leave you alone. Well, we won't if you have a losing season this coming year. This will be the first time I will cheer on every Big 10 team that faces the Richerines this year. Good Luck Rich! And WVU wants your payment in small bills!

Many Prayers For Ethan Powell

I wrote last week in my blog for special prayers for a little baby named "Ethan Powell." He is suffering from leukemia and from what I read on his website he is not in the clear yet. They were waiting for a result from an "MRD" test and come to find out that his leukemia went from a .25 to a .26. Meaning his disease had grown ten times more since the last MRD test.
This is a map called buddymap, it shows how many people are praying for little Ethan and his parents. It's amazing how the internet has involved so many people in prayer for this little boys fight for life. I tried to get my name on there but the sight just wouldn't load. If you want to show you are praying for Ethan go to: www.ethanpowell.com click on updates and you will see the buddymap at the top.
I don't know this family at all and they have some ties to College Church, but being a parent I couldn't bare to see my little child go through so much pain. Your prayers will make a difference I'm sure.

What Do You Do When You & Your Wife Get Hit With The Flu Bug, And Two Other Kids Get It At The Same Time?

Like the title says, that's the way it happened! Brayden came home Tuesday night sicker than a dog. He has not thrown up since he was 2 years old so he didn't have a clue what was going on. I had to teach him how to vomit. He didn't know how, well I'm the professional mouth launcher. So I was around him that whole night and the next night also. I had the future predicted, I was going to get it. Well, Thursday night came upon me and the Totinoe's pizza I was going to enjoy took me by surprise all night long.
An hour later Shannon said she was chilling and her stomach hurt. I said okay your going to be sick with me all night, How Romantic! Another hour passed by and she said I hope Cayden and Macy don't get this. All of a sudden we hear Cayden crying very loud in his room, which he never does. She goes back he has thrown up all over himself. Okay, me and Shannon are very sick and all we want to do is lie there in agony, telling each other how are pains are the same. So we tend to Cayden and he his just heaving it up all over the place between us in bed. We changed atleast 20 diapers all night long.
So a couple hours later, Macy walks in saying she is not feeling very well. 15 minutes later she has her head in the bucket screaming and crying of her pain and telling me how she didn't want to throw up no more.
At one point we had two kids throwing up at the same time, I am in the bathroom doing my flu duties at the same time. What a night! We got no sleep at all, I never took my contacts out at all. And the little person who brought this home from Harding Academy first grade class was sound asleep counting sheep. While the rest of us were battling it out with the flu. If any of you has a story similar to this please share it with me in the comments below. All I can say is that the Lord has a good sense of humor! Have a good weekend. - Clint

Rough Weather Night In Arkansas

Rough night for all of us in Arkansas and across the south. Searcy lucked out on this one, but the towns of Atkins, Clinton and others towns didn't. 6 or 7 tornadoes have been declared so far and I am sure we will find out more tomorrow.
Let me explain the scenario of this kind of weather. It was 70 degrees here today, we had gulf stream winds blowing up from the south and then cold front winds coming from the other direction. Basically the two wind patterns form a cross pattern and the atmosphere winds go crazy. So we waited for 3 hours for the storms or squal line to hit Searcy but we slid right through the rough part of the bad weather. Lucky us!
These are actual pictures of the tornadoes and the devastation in Atkins, AR today. Pray for the communities of Atkins and Clinton. I sometimes wonder why I live here. I don't get nervous until the sirens go off, then I really start biting my nails.

Superbowl: A Patroitic Ending!

There is nothing more exciting than the Steelers winning the Superbowl, except seeing the Pats lose in a Superbowl. What a good game, it's nice to see Eli no longer in the shadow of his brother Peyton. Now it's time to focus on the draft in late April.
